This document constitute the second part of a three-fold report. It follows from [1] where theoretical details about 1D and Pseudo-2D HMM were presented. In this report, we give details about an example package we implemented in view of operating face localisation and detection in 2D images. Based on this application, this documents details main pitfalls generally encountered and proposes solutions to overcome them. Extending this study, part Three [2] illustrates the capabilities of HMM for performing person-based video segmentation.
