“RDF goes meta: what (and what not) to expect of RDF-star”

Abstract : RDF-star (initially named RDF*) was originally a proposal by Olaf Hartig and Bryan Thompson to extend RDF's syntax and semantics, in order to provide a better alternative to RDF reification. It has then grown in popularity, especially as a mean to bridge the gap between RDF and Property Graphs. In this talk, I will present the work of the RDF-DEV community group to propose a specification of RDF-star and SPARQL-star, and the ongoing efforts to create a new working group, making RDF-star the next version of RDF.
