Cloud based storage solutions have become a cheap commodity thanks to popular solutions such as Amazon S3. However, security and reliability are still the number one concern for companies when they "go cloud". In this talk we will explore the concept of intercloud, a.k.a. "the cloud of clouds". By exploiting different clouds, we shall see how we can use to our advantage the heterogeneity of competing cloud storage solutions to achieve increased security and reliability.
