Etudes

  • Francesco Galati is currently a Ph.D. student in the Data Science Department of EURECOM in Sophia Antipolis, under the supervision of Professor Maria A. Zuluaga. He is working on the project "Interactive and Collaborative Learning for 3D Vessel Segmentation", funded by 3IA Cote d’Azur.
  • After attending a Double Master's Degree program, he received his Master of Science in Computer Engineering from the Politecnico di Torino (April 2021) and from Telecom Paris (2022). His research thesis, conducted at EURECOM under the supervision of Professor Maria A. Zuluaga, entitled "Cardiac Image Segmentation: towards better reliability and generalization". This work led to the submission of a paper at FIMH 2021.
  • He received his Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering from the Politecnico di Torino in July 2018, after spending one semester at Mondragon Unibertsitatea, Spain, for the Young Talents Program.
  • His areas of interest include machine learning and neural networks, deep learning, quality control, generative models, explainable AI, and latent representation learning.
