At EURECOM, we are at the forefront of bridging academic research with practical, real-world applications. Our latest initiative is a startup, spin-off from our lab, dedicated to a groundbreaking project in cybersecurity. This venture is supported by an ERC grant from the EU and focuses on developing a sophisticated cloud service for malware analysis. We seek a DevOps Research Engineer skilled in managing and documenting cloud infrastructure (specifically on the Google Cloud Platform), and collaborating in research activities related to Android security and malware analysis fields.
The Role:
- Collaborate on academic research projects on Android malware analysis, overseeing the maintenance and optimization of our cloud architecture.
- Design and develop repeatable fully automated functional and integration tests.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate best practices in cloud deployment and operations.
- Improve, manage, and document the cloud architecture comprehensively, including its internal security and robust network policies to enhance integrity and data protection.
Your Profile:
- Proven experience with Google Cloud Platform and its suite of products.
- Ability to clearly document and communicate complex cloud architectures and policies.
- Experience with developing and maintaining automated tests and test environments
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s (preferred) degree in Computer Science, IT, Systems Engineering, or a related field is required.
- Strong understanding of cloud networking, security, and best deployment practices.
