Martina Cardone was born in 1987 in Italy. In 2009, she obtained a Bachelor Degree from the Politecnico di Torino in Italy, and continued her studies with a Double Degree project at EURECOM, track Mobile Communications. She obtained a Master of Science in Telecommunications Engineering, with a Thesis entitled "Max Min Weighted SINR for the Multiple Input Single Output Interference Channel".
From October 2011, she has joined the Department of Mobile Communications, EURECOM, as a PhD student under the supervision of Professor Raymond Knopp.
Her researches mainly focus on the study of capacity and achievable data rates for Cognitive Radio.
