Daniel Knorreck was born in Cologne (Germany) in 1982. He obtained his diploma degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Stuttgart and Télécom ParisTech in 2008 in the context of a double diploma program. During his studies he specialized in power electronics, control engineering and embedded systems.
In September 2008, he joined the System-on-Chip laboratory of Telecom ParisTech, Sophia-Antipolis, France, where he prepared his PhD under the supervision of Prof. Ludovic Apvrille and Prof. Renaud Pacalet. Research was conducted in the field of modeling, simulation and verification of embedded systems at a high level of abstraction.
Since September 2011 he has been holding a Post-Doc position at the Mobile Communications Department of Eurecom under the supervision of Prof. Raymond Knopp. He is currently working on system integration issues related to the OpenAirInterface Platform.
