  • Placido Mursia is currently a PhD student within the SPOTLIGHT project (ITN - Marie Curie Actions) and in the Communication Systems department of Eurecom, under the supervision of Professor David Gesbert. His research interests are focused mainly on 5G physical layer aspects and distributed algorithms for cooperative wireless networks.
  • He received his B.Sc. in "Telecommunications Engineering" from Politecnico di Torino in 2015.
  • He received the MSc with honors in 2018, in "Communications and Computer Networks Engineering" and "Mobile Communications" in the context of a Double Degree program (Erasmus+) between Politecnico di Torino and Eurecom (Telecom ParisTech) respectively. His Master's Thesis was carried out in the iCDG Department at Intel, Munich and was focused on channel estimation for 4G+/5G mobile networks.
