Ioannis PITSIORLAS is currently a PhD student in the communications department at EURECOM, under the supervision of Professor Marios Kountouris, working on Trustworthy AI for edge networks.
In 2023, Ioannis obtained his MSc Degree in Data Science and Engineering, from the Data Science department at EURECOM. His research thesis entitled ‘Deep generative models for semantic communication using score-based diffusion models’ was carried out at EURECOM.
In 2020, Ioannis obtained his BSc Degree in Applied Informatics, from the Applied Informatics department at the University of Macedonia, Greece. His bachelor thesis was entitled ‘Fraud detection in banking transactions using boosting learning techniques’.
From December 2019 until August 2021, Ioannis worked as a junior data scientist at the Research and Development department, in Ecodevelopment S.A., in Thessaloniki Greece.
