In 2016, Guilherme Ricardo received a diploma in Computer and Information Engineering from Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ), Brazil, with a sandwich period at the Pennsylvania State University, USA.
From 2017 to 2018, he worked as a Research Engineer at the Brazilian National Research and Educational Network, on the prospection of SDN solutions for federated research testbeds.
In March 2018, he obtained a diploma in Systems Engineering and Computer Science also from UFRJ. The thesis subject was "Fractional Edge Coloring for Wireless Link Scheduling in the Physical Interference Model" developed under the supervision of professors José F. de Rezende and Valmir C. Barbosa.
In September 2018, Guilherme Ricardo joined EURECOM's Communication Systems Department as a PhD student under the supervision of Prof. Thrasyvolous Spyropoulos and co-supervision of Prof. Giovanni Neglia from Inria.
