Mody SY is currently a PhD student in the Communication Systems Department of EURECOM (Engineering School and Research Center in Digital Sciences) under the supervision of Professor Raymond KNOPP.
In 2020, he graduated as a design engineer in Telecommunications & Networks at the Computer Engineering Department of the Ecole Supérieure Polytechnique (ESP) of Cheikh Anta Diop University in Dakar, Senegal. During the same year, he completed an end-of-study internship from February to July at EURECOM for the validation of his diploma. His internship topic was "optimization of channel decoding algorithms”.
Mody SY also holds a University Diploma of Technology (DUT) in Telecommunications & Networks, obtained in 2017 at the Ecole Supérieure Polytechnique (ESP) in Dakar.
His research activities focus on advanced wireless communications post-5G / 6G and his thesis topic is “Transmission strategies for low latency communications”.
