  • Ahmad Tanha is currently a Ph.D. student at the Communication Systems Department at EURECOM - Sophia Antipolis, under the supervision of Dr. Derya Malak. He is working on “Distributed Compression and Computation Techniques over Communication Networks” in his thesis, which aims to optimize memory, communication, and computation cost in distributed systems utilizing coding and information theory.
  • He received his M. Sc. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Communication Systems at K. N. Toosi University of Technology (KNTU), the oldest and one of the most prestigious technical universities in Iran. He worked on “Optimizing Elastic Optical Networks Design using Probabilistic Shaping” under the supervision of Dr. Lotfollah Beygi in his M. Sc. thesis.
  • He also obtained his B. Sc. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at KNTU. His B. Sc. thesis was “Design and Implementation of Linear Equalizer Software for Fiber-Optic channel” under Dr. Beygi's supervision.
