  • VAIDANIS Symeon is currently a PhD student at the Communication Systems Department at EURECOM - Sophia Antipolis, under the supervision of Professor Marios Kountouris and Co-supervisor Assistant Professor Photios Stavrou, working on the 6G SNS-JU EU Project: "6G – GOALS: 6G Goal-Oriented AI-enabled Learning and Semantic Communication Networks."
  • Between November 2023 and December 2023, Symeon joined EURECOM – Sophia Antipolis as a Scientific Visitor under the supervision of Professor Marios Kountouris. During his visit, Symeon worked on the SONATA ERC Project.
  • In 2023, he obtained his M.Eng. Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering (with a major in Telecommunications) from the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA). His diploma thesis, titled "Reconfigurable Intelligent Surface: Selection and Configuration for Integrated Sensing and Communication," was conducted in the Network Management & Optimal Design Laboratory (NETMODE) of the NTUA under the supervision of Professor Symeon Papavassiliou.
